How To Find Your Life Purpose Without Driving Yourself Crazy

When you align your physical body with your soul, all sorts of magical thing will begin to happen in your life. Good shit literally falls from the sky!

Aligning with your body and soul is the resistance-free way to reconnect with your imagination and inspiration. And when you do so, it’s an energetic signal to the Universe to bestow these divine gifts upon you.

Finding my purpose began about two years ago, when doing some mirror work. I giggled at my reflection one day and in that moment I knew that everything in my life had changed (I didn’t even own a mirror for the 20 years between the ages of 25-45 because I hated the ‘blob’ of flesh I had become).

But it hasn’t been an easy journey.

During my personal struggles of chronic pain, fatigue, obesity and illness, including type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as the years of self abuse in the form of binge drinking, substance abuse and overeating, along with the decade of depression and three periods of burnout at ages 27, 38 and 49, I never imagined it would help to create the woman with purpose I am now.

Yet still, I managed to reconnect with the reason of what I am here to do — my soul’s purpose (watch this space!).

A Little Exercise

When I was a child, I loved spending time filling up notebooks full of stories I plucked from my imagination. For the past 10 years, I’ve loved supporting other women to heal their bodies and minds so that they serve themselves better. Come to now and I have  written two books (and there’s at least three more that I have imagined into being) about how to look after your body, mind and soul.

So here’s a tip to help you find your purpose:

  1. Use your imagination. What was it that you loved to do when you were younger? Visualise what you used to do. Then feel how it made you felt. Are there any smells you associate with it? Or any tastes? What else can you sense?
  2. Take the time to feel into what you’re really good at and make a list. From there ask yourself what it is you can do to serve others — you may be surprised at the answer that comes from within.

And don’t worry that you might be too old to do this — it took me 53 years to figure this out. Or that your purpose isn’t ‘grand enough’ — you might not be here to save the Amazon rainforest from destruction, but by choosing to intentionally live from your heart and be guided by your intuition, you will serve the world through your authenticity.

Just BE YOU.

With love,
